– With
Canadian prairie wheat production down, organically certified
wheat has been extremely difficult to source. As a result
Creative Salmon has had to substitute organically certified wheat
with conventional wheat in recent formulations of our salmon
diets. Fortunately the shortage was short-lived and we have
resumed using certified wheat once again.

Creative Salmon, a
Tofino-based salmon farm company is hailing the BC Supreme Court
ruling, which held that Don Staniford, a paid anti-aquaculture
campaigner, had defamed Creative Salmon in two press releases issued
in June 2005.
